Te Ao Toiora supports postgraduate student research to assist with harvesting resources in rugged bush. Our research projects include:

• Predator detection using stereo thermal and structured light sensors.

• Autonomously navigating native forests, carrying equipment using quadcopters and quadrupeds.

• Mapping forest resources using camera and lidar sensors.

• Detecting edible plants for robotic harvesting.
